Cops and Kids

The Williamson County Fraternal Order Of Police Lodge # 197 every December holds its Cops and Kids program.  This program is one of our flagship programs and the largest program we sponsor.    Every year the Williamson County FOP's goal is to sponsor 100 children from Williamson County.  This program is meant to give underprivileged children in Williamson County the chance to have a Christmas They would not get.  We take these children to Marion Walmart two days in two separate groups in the third week of December.  These children get a chance to shop for Christmas with a local law enforcement officer.  The Officer or Deputy is able to interact with these children and there family or guardians in a way that shows them that Law Enforcement is there to help them.  These children have approximately one hundred dollars spent on each one.  The family is encouraged to purchase necessities first such as, coats, hats, clothing.  After that is finished they then move on to the fun items such as clothing.

Remember, This can only be accomplished with help from You.  If you would like information on donating please feel free to contact any local Law Enforcement Agency.
